I boxed up my package for LindaMade's Scrap Swap, ready to send off to Oregon. I hope she likes what I'm sending! It's a bunch of different cotton scraps (including a few Halloween designs!), a pack of ribbons, and one of my turtle beanbag pincushions. I'll mail it off tomorrow.

I needed a pincushion. So here's what I ended up with! These guys work great. The body part is a beanbag, so it has weight to it and stays in place, while the shell is filled with poly stuffing for the pins. I made big ol' eyes for the purple/green guy, and then stuck black pins in for pupils (it's a pincushion, after all!). It took me a few tries to come up with the right pattern, but I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. I took pictures as I was going along, so one of these days I'll put up a little tutorial. A turtletorial, if you will...
